Rosacea is quite common skin problem occuring in adults – most often middle-aged women, but also men. About 10% of the population suffers from this ailment, often delaying with dermatological treatment. Acne spreads on the middle part of the face (forehead, nose, chin, sometimes cheeks). Untreated leads to uncontrolled growing of sebaceous glands, lymphedema, and cutaneous infiltrates. Rarely does it appear on the scalp or torso.
